Sometimes food and amusement park rides just don’t mix.
Just ask My Chandler.
A number of years ago, we went with some friends to an amusement park that featured quite a few wild rides.
The purpose of the visit was mainly to ride said wild rides.
I discovered on that trip how much it feels like you are flying when you sit in the very first seat of a roller coaster where the floor falls out below you.
What a liberating feeling that was on the Batman ride!
I also discovered on that trip what it is literally like to have your scream still be at the top coaster while you are already halfway down.
It really did happen!
What My Chandler discovered on that trip was that eating a bbq meal and then immediately going on a coaster that goes forwards and backwards is not a combination you should try.
A point that he proved as he lay on the ground outside of the exit to the coaster afterwards!
But, just to make sure that this theory of mixing food and wild rides is true, we tested it out when we visited the Harry Potter themed area of Universal Studios.
Yup, the butterbeer that we all tried was absolutely delicious.
And yup, the butterbeer mixed with the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride is not a good combination.
And as a bonus, we witnessed two people at the park who tried the same thing with the Dragon Challenge ride.
Don’t eat and ride!
Dick had a little bit of that problem at the Harry Potter ride thru the school. But both were absolutely awesome. Agreed...don't eat and ride!! Hugs
